At Acton Critter Sitters, we recognize that every pet and family comes with unique personalities and preferences, so we take a personalized approach, tailoring our services to your specific needs and those of your pets.

For your pets, we provide:

Daily dog walks, trail runs, and play groups
At-home care for cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, goats, gerbils, and other small animals
Playtime and socialization
Feeding, watering, and brushing
Medication administration and wound dressing
Customized services, such as transportation to and from vets or groomers
Text, email, and phone updates on request
Detailed reports at the end of each service
And unlimited amounts of TLC!

while at your home, we will:

Bring in mail and newspapers
Refill bird feeders
Adjust lights, shades, and blinds
Put out trash and recycling
Check for anything out of order

Before scheduling any services, we meet with each and every client to become acquainted with your needs and those of your pets. We do our best to match pets to sitters according to personalities and preferences, and to maintain consistent assignments between pets and sitters, reinforcing bonds built over time. With your permission, we also match pets to pets according to size and temperament for trail runs and play dates, encouraging socialization, exercise, and good fun.

Morning, noon, or night; weekdays, weekends, or holidays; fair weather or foul, our experienced, professional, and caring Critter Sitters ensure that your pets have loving companionship and conscientious care while you are away, whether for a few hours or a few weeks.

Rates are set on a per-client basis, BASED ON:

Number and types of animals and visits
Extent of care required, such as medication administration
Ancillary services provided, such as plant care or trash removal
Distance from our core service area
Other special circumstances

2024 rates - effective JULY 1, 2024

Periodic rate increases are necessary to attract and retain quality staff, keep up with inflaction and cover our overhead costs. We make every effort to keep our rates affordable while covering our own expenses, which include transportation, treats and supplies, staff training, insurance, payment processing fees, office expenses, and the like.

BILLING

Ongoing customers are billed at the beginning of each month for the prior month's service.
Periodic customers are billed on the last day of service.
New customers are assessed a $20 registration fee and pay a deposit up front for their first service.
Payment is due upon receipt. Please mail payments to: Acton Critter Sitters, P.O. Box 991, Acton, MA 01720. You may also choose to pay your bill through our online portal. This will give you the option of paying with a credit card, PayPal, or through you bank account (ACH).
